MacBooks are wonderful. And the company that makes them also is responsible for a great database management tool; yup, Apple owns FileMaker.
So how crazy is it that to use FileMaker, the {Enter} key is critically important but Apple has decided to omit it from almost the whole range of MacBooks? I’m not talking about {Return}, that’s a word-processing key to go to a new line, {Enter} returns control to the program.
Sure, you can key ‘Fn_Return’, if you remember…
But, there is a way – in fact there are several ways – not to have to remember. The one that seems the most powerful is KeyRemap4MacBook. It does what it says on the tin… and the price, including sales tax, is ‘free’.
